Hi again! i was just browsing the news when i found this article on yahoo by CNA people. this was very unique and i decided to post it here! to share it with all of you!

"Spooktacular" spooks Sentosa museum visitors during Halloween


SINGAPORE: Halloween — traditionally a time when ancient Celts believed the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead blurred — falls on Saturday this year.

From Pontianaks to scarred Chinese beauties, the ancient festival of Halloween has been given a decidedly Asian twist.

"Images of Singapore", a museum on Sentosa containing wax figures of old Singapore, was given a ghostly makeover in the name of "Spooktacular," for the Halloween period.

And from the queues of people waiting outside the venue, it can be said that scary business is obviously good business.

Visitors treaded nervously as they anticipated what was next, but most of the crowd lapped it up.

"We should have more of such events in Singapore — very fun," said a visitor.






It was the brainchild of a group of tourism studies students from Temasek Polytechnic and Sentosa. The S$75,000 event took months of preparation, and many ideas were tossed out before hitting on this combination.

"We came up with this theme of music and horror because these are the two main drivers for youths to feel excitement and the drive. So from then on, it built up to something called Spooktacular," said Jasmine Seah, a student at Temasek Polytechnic.

Lol was just stumbling about the internet minding my own business when this site appeared. it was called www.failblog.com or something like that, it had fail pictures and this one really captured my attention

i believe this is one of the main reasons why some people are afraid of clowns.. they are just plain scary in some aspects and u can never really see behind their smiles...
some of them look funny in a evilish way and some people actually like clowns like that but then again almost 2x the people are afraid of those types of clowns. well after much research [5minutes lol] i found out the scientific reason behind people being afraid of clowns.. its called Coulrophobia lol.

Ah I have just had another one of my stroke of inspirations and it was due to the fact that tomorrrow is halloween! Well have any of you heard of halloween? well i bet all of you have and do you know when it is on? it is "n" annual holiday celebrated on October 31. well annual at some places . Renember the jack o lanterns and trick'o tricking that u have watched or heard about? some of you lucky ppl have even done it before! but well... theres not many people who celebrates halloween in singapore *sigh* and there's not even a lame concert like for deepavali today.. oh well. now lets have some nerdy information from wikipedia!
